The 16-year old Miley Cyrus is the royalty of the Tweens. Tween is term used to describe girls aged between 9 to 14, too old for dolls but too young for boys.  The she is the considered as the Queen of Tweens.  Miley Cyrus began her acting career in 2003 by doing a small part as Young Ruthie in Tim Burton’s Big Fish and a guest spot on series called Doc where her Dad also stars.  And in 2005, the 13-year Miley started to carved her name in showbiz by winning the lead role in the Disney Channel TV series Hannah Montana.

She was initially rejected as being the “Hannah Montana” because she too young, and too small to be Hannah but due to her persistence and perseverance she become the Miley Stewart who lead a double life as the famous teen pop star Hannah Montana.

Since 2006, until now, Hannah Montana is the cable’s most-watched show for kids ages 6 to 14. Its success continues in song with the Hannah Montana soundtrack album debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200.  The Hannah Montana Season 1 soundtrack becomes triple platinum album.  Miley’s appeal is “charisma and a very winning personality that’s easily conveyed by both television and live performance,” says Billboard touring editor Ray Waddell. “She’s totally non-threatening to parents and a must-see for her target audience.”


On 2007, Hannah Montana goes for its second season.  The Hannah Montana Season 2 soundtrack called Hannah Montana 2: Meet Miley Cyrus sells 1.1 million copies.  Miley had also performed both as herself and as Hannah Montana on a North American Best of Both Worlds Tour with 69 total dates, 14 more than previously planned. The Jonas Brothers were the opening act for most of the tour.  Tour tickets for each date sold out in record time after they went on sale, disappointing a large number of fans.  The tour was recorded and released to cinemas in Disney Digital 3-D. The concert film earned $8,651,758 on its opening day, and continued on to gross $31,117,834 to finish off the weekend, making it the highest-grossing opening weekend for a film to be released fewer than 1000 screens, and on July 26, 2008 it was aired on Disney Channel.

Miley had also provided the voice of Penny in the animated film, Bolt.  Last April 2009, the Hannah Montana: The Movie was released.  Last July this year, Miley had released the latest Hannah Montana 3 soundtrack album.  In 2010 Miley is also expected to release her movie The Last Song.  The Last Song is an adaptation of Nicholas Sparks novel of the same title. This is Miley’s first attempt to entertain “older” audience.  In July 2009, Disney acquired the film rights to Aprilynne Pike’s novel Wings, in which Miley is expected to star.

Liam Hensworth Kissing Miley Cyrus

Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus was caught kissing a boy today.  After the announcement of break-up to her 9-months model boyfriend, Miley was caught kissing another guy.  The guy involve is obviously not her ex-bf Justin Gaston, nor the other ex-boyfried Nick Jonas.  The guy Miley caught kissing with, is Liam Hemsworth.

But the kiss is nothing personal, there’s no real-life romance between Miley and Liam.  The kiss is purely business, it is all for the sake of work.  The kiss was for scene of their upcoming movie The Last Song.  The Last Song is an adaptation from the novel written by seasoned dramatic author Nicholas Sparks.  Nicholas Sparks is the author of the best-selling novel and blockbuster movie A Walk To Remember and The Notebook.


The Last Song is all about a rebellious teenage girl who is sent to live with her estranged father.  The Last Song is being filmed in Savannah, Georgia.  On the movie Liam Hemsworth plays the love interest of Miley in the movie.  The two kissed while Liam lifted a wet Miley out of the water and into his arms.  The scene was filmed in Georgia too.

Lines, Vines and Trying Times Album Cover

Lines, Vines and Trying Times is the fourth studio album of pop-rock boyband Jonas Brothers. Jonas Brothers is composed of the siblings Kevin, Joe and Nick who are mainstay talent of Disney Channel. The boys have been gaining popularity in tween audience since their debut movie Camp Rock. Their newest album, Lines, Vines and Trying Times is released under Hollywood records.

Mr. President Nick Jonas explained the title, Lines, Vines and Trying Times as a bit of poetry that they came up with on the set for their TV show J.O.N.A.S! According to Nick, “Lines are something that someone feeds you, whether it’s good or bad. Vines are the things that get in the way of the path that you’re on, and trying times — well, obviously we’re younger guys, but we’re aware of what’s going on in the world and we’re trying to bring some light to it.”

The Jonas Brothers has already started promoting the album on their 2009 world tour which began last May 18, 2009 in Lima, Peru. The album carrier single is the song “Paranoid.” Paranoid was previously featured in the JONAS! TV show. Included in the Lines, Vines and Trying Times is the track which was featured in the end credit of the blockbuster movie hit Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian.

The track Before The Storm is the controversial duet of Nick Jonas and Miley Cyrus, which according to some rumors were the reason of Miley Cyrus and Justin Gaston breakup, is also included in the album. Miley and Nick collaborated in writing the song Before The Storm. Lines, Vines and Trying Times is set to be released in US on June 16, 2009.

Miley Cyrus-Justin Gaston Break-up

Disney’s teen superstar Miley Cyrus breaks-up with her 9-months boyfriend, the 20-year old model Justin Gaston. According to E! News, Hannah Montana split up with Justin before she head-off to Georgia to shoot for her new movie “The Last Song.” The split up between Justin and Miley had been hanging on the news for few weeks, since Miley is usually found hanging out with her ex-boyfriend Nick Jonas.

On her twitter, Miley tweet “i’m in a dark theater ‘writing’ a song with nick j who is rockin a faded egg plant [sic] shirt!” Other reports revealed that the Miley’s constant traveling and work schedule create too much between Miley and Justin. Distance and schedule is only one factor of the split up. Miley has recently been spending time with her ex, Nick Jonas, which a friend of Justin’s said put some strain on the relationship.

Nick Jonas confirmed in an interview with the Twist magazine about the duet with Miley on the Jonas Brother’s new song, “Before The Storm.” The song was reportedly included in their newest album “Lines, Vines and Trying Times.”

According to Nick: “There’s two versions of the song basically, one that was written just for our record that we sang originally. And then I played it for Miley and we realized that if we just changed the lyrics a bit, we could make it more of our story, kind of share that side of us, and it could be great. So, we did,” Nick told Twist. “She came in and she and I sat down at the piano and just worked on lyrics a bit, tweaked it up, and it turned out great!”

Since leaving for Georgia, Miley has posted several Tweets referencing the distance between herself and her loved ones. She tweets:”why does saying good-bye hurt so much?” she wrote on June 7. “I’m just to [sic] far from where you are, i wanna go home.”
