Watch The Proposal Online

After a long absence in the romantic comedy genre, Sandra Bullock is back with The Proposal. The Proposal is another heart-warming and hilarious film which Sandra is known of. If you loved Sandra Bullock’s brand of humor in Ms. Congeniality and Two Weeks Notice, The Proposal is definitely the “much-watch” movie for you. On this movie Sandra teamed-up with her real life friend Ryan Reynolds which gives a perfect rapport on screen. Ryan Reynolds is known for his performance in the blockbuster hit X-Men Origin: Wolverine, he played the role of Wade Wilson/Weapon XI. The movie is directed by Anne Fletcher and set to premier in US on June 19, 2009. You have to watch out for the performance of the sweet-natured senior Betty White, because according to reviews Betty rocks the house. The movie is rated PG-13.

The Proposal is all about the high-powered book editor Margaret (Sandra Bullock). Margaret or Maggie is everyone’s worst nightmare. She is inconsiderate, selfish, ruthless, driven — in short a boss from hell. The twist of the story occurs when Maggie faces a problem of deportation to her native country Canada.

To prevent from being deported and destroy her all-important career Maggie comes up with a solution on the spur of the moment. That is to marry her all-American assistant Andrew (Ryan Reynolds). He agrees to participate in the charade, but with a few conditions of his own.  They have to go to Alaska to meet Andrew’s quirky family and the always-in-control city girl finds herself in one comedic fish-out-of-water situation after another. Unfortunately, the government is understandably suspicious, and so the two faux lovers must embark on a humiliating charade in order to make the marriage seem legitimate.
